“The universe is energy, energy that responds to our expectations. When we have a question, people show up with the answer.” - James Redfield, The Celestine Prophecy

After a good nights sleep, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. I started the day with some coffee and a little breakfast. For breakfast I made avocado toast from the bakery with a soft-boiled egg. Is it just me, or is there something about the eggs in Spain that always taste more delicious than anywhere else?

After breakfast, it was time for some yoga. I took my usual shady spot under a palm tree and started my practice. I wanted to go for a swim but it was a windy day and something in my body just didn’t want to get in the water!

I spent the rest of the day under a shady spot. Sadly, they took my sunscreen out at security and I lay in the sun for just a little too long the day before. Luckily, Eva had brought me sunscreen and after sun that she had lying around from a previous guest.

I felt inspired by the view from my room and started to sketch.

At around 4pm, I decided to go for a little walk to explore the other end of the island. Remember what I was saying about the African desert? Well this part of the island definitely confirmed what I was already feeling! The landscape in this part of the island was different from the other side, characterized by sand dunes on one side and rocky cliffs with natural pools on the other.

I returned form my walk around 6pm, just in time for the sunset and apero! Fresh bread with sliced jamon… simple and delicious!
